#IAMAWOMAN was created as a ‘call out’ organisation, a campaign that would reach out and voice the negative aspects of sexual harassment towards women; it was formed as a way to make the audience question if this is what they want their society to continue as, and why, as an individual, they would need feminism within their life.
Portrayed through 3 main compositions, #IAMAWOMAN gives illustrative depictions on the harassment and treatment women go through on a daily basis; evoking an intimate and personal response/atmosphere within the pieces. The highlighted words and messages in the compositions are aimed toward the assaulters, as well as the general viewer, and showcases the threat that women tend to be under when under sexual treatment.
